Finally caving to blogging

This is my very first blog and I am not exactly sure of the proper ettiquite or style but I am giving it a shot. I am a happily married wife to a Sailor in the US Navy. I am a mother to a teenager now in high school, a business owner and command ombudsman. I love my life and family. I have watched two of our friends blog and have to admit I am somewhat mismerized by how easy this comes to each of them. They seem to make writing about their daily lives so smooth and easy where I sit here and struggle with what is and isn't appropriate to write about. We have so many forms of communication today with IM's, chatrooms, blogging and myspace. I get somewhat concerned at what our society will put out on the internet. Teenagers who think it is acceptable to place pics of themselves in very little or the impression of very little on myspace. What are these kids thinking? I will probably talk about that more as I get into blogging. I hope as our friends look at this blog they do not judge me to harshly at my inability to write. Hopefully practice makes perfect in this new challenge.
